FIAB 2022 Letter

Hi there! This is my first pan-fandom exchange request so please bear with me as I try and lay everything out, haha.

First of all, my main priority is that you create something that you are proud of and that you had fun doing so. As long as it does not cross a DNW, I will enjoy it! I'm new to the different medium concept as well so I might default to saying read/write/author at times during this letter, but do not let that deter you from exploring the other mediums!!

General SFW things I like: when friendships are just as important as romantic relationships, characters having specialties/quirks/hobbies, (seemingly) unrequited pining, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, character-centric fic, casual touching, slow burn romances, rooftops, piers, caves, scarred hands, soulbonds, found family, shrines, abandoned ruins, dark forests, haunted locations, settings with a deep sense of atmosphere &/or history, transitional periods - either physical, like the period between afternoon and evening and evening and night, or personal, like that weird place between different stages of a relationship (regardless of context), water / oceanic imagery, trans characters, bandaging someone up, hurt/comfort, mentor/mentee (platonic OR romantic), knowledge sharing/teaching someone something new to them, ghosts

General NSFW things I like: competency kink ie: characters being good at what they do, rivalmancy, casual sex, somnophilia, edging, biting, lots of touching, body exploration, blindfolds, first times (either overall, with a new partner, first time trying a new kink, etc), omegaverse, wet & messy

DNW: dysphoric trans characters, impact play (including spanking), miscommunication as a plot device, sounding

Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is one of my main fandoms right now - I'm working my way through the Sumeru Archon quest as of its release so don't worry about spoilers. I think visions are fascinating, I'm a big fan of Prince!Kaeya even if it's been disproven by one of the recent quests, and I'm down for all sorts of shenanigans! I'll try to note down at least one thing I like about each pairing tag below but like I've said previously - I will be delighted to receive anything so go with what speaks to you. These are not in any particular order!

Tartaglia | Childe/Zhongli (Genshin Impact)

age gap sexy (LOL), i love a unhinged childe who settles down in zhongli's vicinity, zhongli who is patient but firm, childe who is desperate for attentio and praise despite being incredible and competent in his own right, zhongli who is obsessed with mementos and memories of their time together (the premise of my zhongchi zine fic! unfortunately not yet available, but i love them

Albedo/Kaeya (Genshin Impact)

raising klee together, albedo asking kaeya to assist with "experiments", kaeya flirting shamelessly and albedo not realizing it which leads kaeya to flirt even MORE, working together/casefic/missionfic, both of them "not belonging" - not being from mondstadt, divided loyalties

Kaeya/Tartaglia | Childe (Genshin Impact)

proooobably my genshin otp, i think? i adore them and i think they work very well together; like zhongli, kaeya is very much able to put childe in his place but kaeya would be snarkier about it (sexy), i think they compliment each other very well and are so good when they're unhinged, abyssal connections, sparring/aftermath of a fight

Albedo/Kong | Aether (Genshin Impact)

EXPERIMENTATION i dont know what else to say i just lose it every time i remember albedo being like 'im going to experiment on you' and aether being like 'what'

Capitano/Tartaglia | Childe (Genshin Impact)

monstrous capitano and needy for praise and attention childe send message. like, would love to see someone really lean into the whole shadowy/no-face thing capitano's got going on. also internal fatui politcs!

Pantalone/Tartaglia | Childe (Genshin Impact)

i just think childe works REALLY well with people who can grab him by the scruff literally or figuratively. internal fatui politics here as well. something about how childe has SO MUCH MONEY because you KNOW pantalone's gotta be the one approving it.

Albedo/Kazuha (Genshin Impact)

i actually dont remember anything about them together but i still have a need LOL

Collei & Tighnari (Genshin Impact)

ahhhhhh the beginning of sumeru made my heart SO!!! tighnari cares for collei so much and collei has the utmost respect for him and i would love to see more of their life as forest rangers! maybe collei trains really hard because she wants to help with the withering; please be respectful of her chronic illness, though, and kindly no trauma porn

Kamisato Ayato/Tartaglia | Childe/Zhongli

did i mention people who can grab childe by the scruff??? also i think they should spar. there's a ton of politics that can be involved here as well!!

Enjou/Yabe (Genshin Impact)

that one art of yabe "certified monsterfucker" and enjou made me a forever shipper. i wrote the first fic for them(!) for npc zine - the general vibes i get are, like, yabe is very forward and enjou is like ???? but he's not mad about it. very, uh, eye emojis. im super elegant. also yabe is known for being interested in books and puzzles and not being scared of things the way the other soldiers are and i think enjou would appreciate that!!

Kuki Shinobu/Yanfei (Genshin Impact)

This is like, the OG OTP. I love the shared history and both of them having to work through their shit. I love exploring how Draco becomes his own person after the war and out of the shadow of his parents. I like supportive Narcissa. Some of my favorite tropes(?) or, like, things for them are when they have hobbies/jobs that aren't what people would have thought ie: Mediwizard Draco, Carpenter Harry, etc. I love when they break out of the mold that is expected of them!!

Draco Malfoy/Blaise Zabini

My thoughts here are like - schoolyard romance that maybe leads to drifting apart and then reuniting 7-10 years later when they've become full-fledged adults and are navigating their new lives. I also like Supportive!Blaise trying to help Draco through all of the war shit.

Ginny Weasley/Blaise Zabini

This is one of those pairings where I don't have specific feels for them but I adore what I've seen/read and think they would be great together! I'd love to see whatever you cook up.

Cho Chang/Blaise Zabini

The EAD server got me with this one! I'm still pretty new but the vibes are chefs kiss and would love to see what you cook up, just like the previous tag, hehe.
